STATEMENT: MPP MIKE HARRIS ON FALL SESSION IN ONTARIO LEGISLATURE

QUEEN’S PARK – I am extremely pleased to return to Queen’s Park alongside my colleagues from both sides of the aisle for a fulsome fall session. Following a busy and productive summer in Kitchener-Conestoga, I am eager to address the many local priorities affecting my constituents. The focus has been on improving local healthcare, including a new hospital in Waterloo Region, expanding public transit with improvements on the GO Kitchener line, supporting local communities and vulnerable individuals at risk of homelessness and improving broadband access in our rural townships. Our province still faces a critical housing shortage, and the Government remains committed to building homes so that more Ontarians have access to housing options where they choose to live, work, study and raise their families.
